Cambodia is so enchanting with it's temples and rich history. This short excursion is about getting into the temples of Siem Reap and photographing every nook and cranny and making sure we capitalize on the light.
not We'll not only explore the major sites near Angkor Wat but also go futher afield to Banteay Srei and Kompong Khleang Floating Village.

Transportation. You will be responsible for all international transportation requirements. This photo tour will begin in and end in Siem Reap, Cambodia (exact hotel and meeting location will be provided after registration); . Once the photo tour begins, all internal transportation costs are included in the registration fee. We will be using private vehicles (including tuk tuks and regular cars) and walk within city limits. We will begin our trip with a meet and greet Feb 13, 2019 in Feb 17, 2019 after a sunrise shoot.
Meals. On your journey you will have the opportunity try local foods. Hopefully never repeating anything twice. All breakfasts are available at the hotel, we will never be able to get breakfast due to our early starts. Please be prepared with power bars. We probably won't be able to get food for the first couple of hours. 2 dinners will be included. alcoholic beverages are not included.
Documents.Visa requirements for visiting Cambodia. Citizens of most western countries with a valid passport are required to apply for an entry visa to Cambodia. You may apply via your local embassy or consulate office or ONLINE. Although visas on arrival are available it is best to make sure that you have your visa before entering the country. An electronic visa will significantly speed up the proccess at the airport. You are responsible for fulfilling your own visa requirements. Registration does not include visa fees.YOU MUST bring 2-3 passport size photos with you. This is in case the immigration officer wants it and it will be necessary for the Angkor entry pass.
Itinerary. Our journey begins with a welcome dinner in Siem Reap. The next bright an early with a sunrise shoot at Ta Prohm. One of the four major sites in Siem Reap. We'll shoot at all 4 sites and any other secondary site with the remaining time.
Day 2 Sunrise, we head directly to Banteay Srei one of the furthest intact temples from Siem Reap. We won't catch the sunrise there but we'll make it before all the other tourists! Which means good clean shots of the temples. We can stop along the way to for any photos on the way there and on the way back. As this will not encompass the entire day we'll get a chance to go back to any temples the group would like to spend more time at and to plan for a sunset shoot as well.
Day 3 And yet another sunrise session. For day 3 we'll head toKompong Khleang Floating Village and get a glimpse at daily life. We'll also get a chance to float down the river on small boats and photograph the trees that grow over the river. At the end of the day we'll return to Siem Reap and spend some time at the night market, taking photographs and enjoying the atmosphere and food.
Day 4. Our last day and one more sunrise of course. We will hit one more temple at sunrise before saying good bye and heading out.
Medical. As with all travel outside a first world country it is recommended that you have all of your childhood immunizations up to date and/or boosted. The United State's Center for Disease Control also recommends that you are immunized against Hepatitus A and Typhoid.
